Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a boom capable of performing laterally directed excavating work and also of easily changing the direction of a bucket, as well as having a function such as possessed by the conventional oil-pressure type power shovel. CONSTITUTION:A rotary boom 1 to be turned by a prime mover, having an arm 9 attached in a freely foldable manner to its tip and a drive cylinder 4 to move the arm 9, is attached rotatably to a fixed boom 2 having a hollow attached in a vertically movable manner to its upper rotator body. The fixed boom 2 is provided with a rotary tube coupler 19 through which a working oil to actuate a working cylinder 92 attached to the arm 9 and the drive cylinder 4 is sent.
