Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an arm capable of properly and selectively effecting a function as a power shovel and a function as a back-hoe only by operating a prime mover and also of performing the excavation of the side wall of a trench when turning a bucket sideways. CONSTITUTION:A rotary arm 1 to be turned by a prime mover 3, having a working cylinder 5 to actuate an attachment, e.g., bucket, etc., is rotatably attached to a fixed arm 2 having a hollow attached to a boom. A working oil to actuate said working cylinder 5 is fed through a rotary tube coupler 9 attached to the fixed arm 2.
