Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce an active circuit and to achieve power saving and high reliability, by synthesizing a signal of the same frequency at a synthesizer in advance before demodulating a reception signal and demodulating it afterward. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of reception beam elements RB1-RB3 are connected to a receiver 2, and an output of a receiver 2 is inputted to a branching device 3 which branches reception frequencies f1-f3 in a beam. The output of each branching device 3 is synthesized at a synthesizer 7 at each same reception frequency, and the synthesized output is inputted to demodulators 4, respectively. In the synthesis of a reception signal, since the time slot of the same frequency is not overlapped on a time axis, power can simply be synthesized. The output of each demodulator 4 is inputted to a base band switch matrix 5, where the time slot of the base band signal obtained at each demodulator is replaced, and the base band signal is reorganized at transmission beam elements TB1-TB3. The output signal of the matrix 5 is inputted to modulators 6, respectively and modulated and transmitted via the elements TB1-TB3.
