Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the distortion noise phase for the multiple heterodyne repeating system by using at least one unit of the heterodyne for the upper and lower side band waves contained in the output of the up-converter. CONSTITUTION:The signal sent from transmission input terminal 18 undergoes the frequency conversion into the carrier wave of the upper side band through up- converter 21 by the carrier signal sent from carrier signal source 19 and is then amplified via transmission power amplifier 22 to be transmitted to reception antenna 11 of the repeating installation through transmission antenna 23. Up-converter 15 of the repeating installation undergoes the frequency conversion into the carrier wave band via the lower side band wave. Thus, the 3rd distortion emerging at the output of power amplifier 16 after generated at power amplifier 22 and the 3rd distortion generated at power amplifier 16 feature the phase shifted by pi radian to each other since the pass side wave bands differ at frequency converter 21 and 15 respectively. As a result, the 3rd distortion can be suppressed.
