Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the work efficiency and to keep the quality in good conditions, by coating conductor layers in grooves with electroless plating and forming a covering body of the same material as a core and a core in one body. CONSTITUTION:A columnar core 1 having grooves 2 to draw a specific pattern on the surface is formed by using an insulation plastic through a suitable forming means. This core 1 is immersed for about 30min at about 25-30 deg.C in an electroless plating solution, e.g. copper sulfate solution. Then, a conductor layer 5, e.g. copper having about 100-200mu thickness is subjected to electroless plating on the surface of the core 1. When this core 1 is brushed with a buff, the conductor layer 5 formed at the parts other than the grooves on the surface of the core 1 is all polished and removed and only the conductor layer 5 is left in the groove. To coat the core 1, the core 1 is inserted in an engraving space 8 formed with a top force 6 and a bottom force 7 in an injection molding machine. Thus, when the same resin material as that of the core 1 is injected in the space 8, a coating body 11 is coated on an outer surface of the core 1.
