Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily diagnose which detector has become faulty, by comparing and deciding at least 2 detecting outputs in accordance with a controlled state of a device to be controlled, and a detecting output in accordance with a value to which a controlled variable of said device to be controlled has been set, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a device to be controlled executes its output in accordance with a set value of a controlled variable setting device, analog signals of a set value detector 13 and the first and second detectors 1, 2 are the same, and digital signals of 3 deciding circuits 6A, 6B and 6C are all the same. Accordingly, all the deciding circuits 6A, 6B and 6C execute no output. Therefore, an interlocking circuit 7 executes an output, AND circuits 8A, 8B execute no output. When he first detector 1 becomes faulty and its signal becomes smaller than the analog signal of the set value detector 13, both the deciding circuits 6C, 6A execute an output. The deciding circuit 6B, however, executes no output. On the other hand, since the interlocking circuit 7 always executes an output, the AND circuit 8A executes an output and the AND circuit 8B executes no output. Accordingly, a display 110 and a printer 120 display the fault of the first detector 1.
