Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the irregularities on a curved surface by making an end mill path along a line of curvature obtained through a coordinate value determined by a model design value conicide with the like of curvature having a large radius of curvature. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate value of a cured surface is obtained based upon either a model or a designed value. Height of irregularities is reduced if a radius of curvature of a work is made lager while both a distance between paths of end mills and a tip radius of the end mill are kept constant. Then, the path is selected in consideration of the path 6 and the radius tip of the end mill and by putting those in operation so that the radius of curvature of the work can be made largest.
