Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce noise and make flat a surface of film, by heat treatment of film made a plastic base provided with a magnetic layer in air while applying a tension during carriage. CONSTITUTION:A film made of a plastic base evaporated with a magnetic film passes between nozzles 4 and 5 from a payoff roll 1 via a nib roll 2 and guide roll 3 and is wound on a winding part 12 via a guide roll 10 and nib roll 11 with a prescribed tension. The air from blowers 7 and 9 is heated at heaters 6 and 8 and blown out on the film from the nozzles 4 and 5. The film is tensioned with a prescribed tension in air via nib rolls 2 and 11. Thus, noise can be reduced and the surface is made flat.
