Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately seal the quantity of sealing gas by charging a container in which the prescribed quantity of He and Ne are filled in advance in a laser tube, then evacuating the laser tube, sealing the tube, thereafter perforating a part of the container and introducing He and Ne gases to the tube. CONSTITUTION:A container 10 in which He and Ne are filled in charged in a laser tube. The container 10 is made of metal, and after the laser tube is sealed, the container 10 is partly perforated with a hole 11 to discharge the He and Ne gas. This hole 11 can be perforated by emitting a YAG laser light 12, for example, with a miniature beam diameter.
