Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a gauss beam for a long term by forming a graphite disc having a large discharging hole which does not discharge a fine tube at the end of the graphite disc of a laser tube. CONSTITUTION:A laser tube 1 discharges between an anode 5 and a cathode 7, laser oscillates with an optical oscillator formed of an output mirror 3 and a totally reflecting mirror 4 and produces a laser light 12. A mode suppression graphite disc 10 having a discharging hole 11 is formed around the center hole 8' at the tube 1, and since the hole 11 is feasibly to discharge as compared with the hole 8', the discharge between the anode 5 and the cathode 7 is discharged at the hole 8 at the graphite disc group 6, and the hole 11 is discharged at the mode suppression graphite disc 10.
