Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage of magnetic flux and improve the rotating performance by a structure wherein a pair of rotating magnetic poles are mounted through a non-magnetic annular spacer to the rotating body. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned device, in which the pair of rotating magnetic poles 2 made of annular magnetic material with U-shaped section, is used at the side of the rotating disc 6 and the pair of stationary magnetic poles 1a composed of a permanent magnet 1 is used only at the stationary side so as to make up a closed loop magnetic circuit 3 together with the pair of rotating magnetic poles 2 in order to utilize the attractive force acting on a magnetic gap 4 between the rotating side and the stationary side as the radial centripetal force, the non-magnetic annular spacer 7 is installed between the pair of rotating magnetic poles 2 and the rotating disc 6. The distance between the pair of magnetic poles 2 and the rotating disc 6 is rendered to be variable with the configuration of the spacer 7. By changing said distance, the dispersion of rotating performance among the mass-produced devices can be reduced.
