Abstract
PURPOSE:To correctly identify a time of starting operation and a time after starting for effectively prevent choking condition by detecting a time required for making a turn of a certain crank angle. CONSTITUTION:This ignition device contains a signal generator 10 which sequentially generates a set signal and a lead angle trigger signal at a certain turning angle of a crank shaft, an integration circuit 12 which starts charging by the set signal and a comparison circuit 18 which compares an output voltage of the integration circuit with a certain reference voltage. At a low rotational speed where an output of the integration circuit gets higher than the reference voltage, an ignition timing is delayed and otherwise, advanced by an output of the comparison circuit. Hence, if voltages of the set signal and a lead angle trigger signal may be varied, there is no fear of a malfunction or no effect of an air gap of the signal generator. Thereby, a time of starting operation and a time after starting can be surely identified and a choking may be prevented.
