Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the ignition position at the time of a high speed rotation from over advancing by restricting the length of the advance by the signal duration of negative half cycle of the output from the first signal source determining the ignition position of low speed region. CONSTITUTION:The output of the second signal source 12 does not reach the trigger level of a thysistor 3 in a low speed rotation region but only the output of the first signal source 11 reaches the trigger level. If the length of the output of the positive half cycle of the first signal source 11 is made small, the ignition position in the low speed region is maintained at a substantially constant position. When the rotational number of the engine increases, the ignition position is determined by the output of the second signal source, and the ignition position advances. When the rotational number further increases, a transistor 16 becomes conductive, and the output of the second signal source 12 is prevented from being supplied to the thyristor 3, and the ignition position becomes constant.
