Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a phase shift due to a noise, a ghost, etc., by filtering a video signal through a filter which permits only a vertical and a horizontal synchronizing signal component to pass through it, and regenerating a synchronizing signal by using the horizontal synchronizing component during a vertical blanking interval. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is applied to an adding filter M-1 to eliminate an equalized pulse component and the high-frequency component of a video signal, thereby passing only a horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signal frequency component. The adding filter M-1 consists of an input-side low-pass filter, delay circuits which delays a filter output by a certain time respectively, an adder which adds the filter output and delay outputs, and an output-side low-pass filter. The output of the adding filter M-1 is applied to an analog switch M-2 to extract the horizontal synchronizing signal component during a vertical blanking interval, and it is applied to an automatic phase control circuit N to regenerate the horizontal synchronizing signal.
