PURPOSE:To eliminate a crosstalk component by inverting a regenerated chrominance signal by inverting a regenerated chrominance signal of every other track on a phase axis. CONSTITUTION:Converted color signals of even-numbered tracks are as shown by F1, F'2, F3, F'4..., and those of odd-numbered tracks are as shown by F2n+1, -F2n+2', F2n+3, -F2n+4',.... A crosstalk component from an adjacent track is in phase shown by broken lines in Fig. A. this signal, when delayed through a delay line by one horizontal period, is in phase as shown in Fig. B, and the output is put in phase by a converter 12 as shown in Fig. C. The phase of this signal is inverted by an inverter during only periods of tracks T2n+1, T2n+3,... to obtain a phase in Fig. D. Then, the signals shown in Fig. A and Fig. D are added by an adding circuit to obtain a phase shown in Fig. E, so that a crosstalk component is not contained in it by being canceled.
