Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the beat interference to a reproduced carrier chrominance components due to cross talk, by inverting the high component of a luminance signal and the order of linear sequence of carrier chrominance components in frequency modulation, in every one track recording forming period. CONSTITUTION:A color video signal of NTSC system is separated 6 into a luminance signal Y and carrier chrominance components C, and a low band conversion signal C' of the signal C and a high band component YH which is a subtraction 13 between a delay output of the Y signal and the low band component YL are applied to a gate circuit 14. The circuit 14 receives a gate pulse 15 and synthesizes the signals YH, C' alternately in every one horizontal period in time series for linear sequencing, and the order of line sequencing is inverted and outputted in every one rotating period of a disc. On the disc, a frequency division multiplex signal adding this output to the signal YL is recorded in addition to an audio carrier.
