Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment as well as installation, by reducing the weight of a part to be installed outdoors by composing the part f only a lens and its direction adjusting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Signal light from a light transmission part 1 which includes a light source and a driving circuit passes through an optical fiber and is emitted from the end surface of the optical fiber 6 whose terminals are arranged on the focuses of lenses 7 for transmission and reception to be sent from the lenses 7 to a space propagation path C. Further, the signal light arriving at the opposite light transmitter and receiver B is received by the lens 7' for both transmission and reception and focused on the end surface of the optical fiber 6' arranged on the focus of the lens 7'. This light is received by a light reception part 2 through the fiber 6', a photocoupler 3' and an optical fiber 5'. In the opposite direction, on the other hand, signal light from a light transmission part 1' enters into a photocoupler 3' through an optical fiber 4', so that it is received by the opposite light reception part 2 similarly.
