Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a storage part which can be accessed by a central processor all the time, by switching storage parts according to the state of a switch. CONSTITUTION:A storage-part selection signal (a) is supplied to a storage-device control part 3, and divided into two and are supplied as storage-part selection signals (b) and (c) to storage parts 1 and 2. The storage-device control part 3 is switched either the signal (b) or (c) of the signal (a) according to more effective one of them to select the storage part 1 or 2. Normally, the storage part 1 and 2 disregard an address, a data, and a control signal unless the selection signals (b) and (c) become active, so one of the storage devices 1 and 2 is connected to a CPU. Therefore, the storage parts 1 and 2 are switched according to the signals (b) and (c), thereby performing another process.
