Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency of the radiator gy a method wherein steel sheets, which compose of the portion of cavity parts, are formed in the form of bellows-like folds and said steel sheets are opposed to each other with the fixed gap therebetween in order to increase the radiating area. CONSTITUTION:A radiator element 1 composes of two same steel sheets opposedly lain one upon the other as radiator plates 2a and 2b, the circumferential parts 3 of which are jointed by seam-welding 7 with each other and the intermediate parts of the radiating surface of which are jointed by spot-welding 8 in longitudinal direction with the fixed intervals. The cavity parts 5 are formed between the spot-welded intermediate parts 4. Concretely, the steel sheets composing of the cavity parts are formed in the form of bellows-like folds by drawing or the like and the radiator element 1 is formed by opposing said bellows- like folded sheets to each other with the fixed gap a, resulting in increasing the radiating area and in improving the cooling efficiency of the radiator.
