PURPOSE:To stabilize the control of a voltage type PWM inverter by detecting the varied amount in the DC voltage of a converter in response to the quantity of variation in the rotation of an induction motor, applying it in the same polarity as the frequency reference to feed back it to the oscillation frequency signal of an inverter. CONSTITUTION:An AC power source 1 is connected to a converter 2, the output of the converter is applied to an inverter 3, and an electric power is supplied to an induction motor 4. The signal of a frequency setter 7 is applied to a voltage controller 10, is compared with a signal of a triangular generator 12, is applied as a pulse width modulation signal to a converter 13, and the signal from the setter 7 and the detection signal of a detector 6 which detects the differentiated value of the variation in DC voltage of the converter 2 are applied in the same polarity to the converter 13 through a V/F converter 9, thereby controlling the inverter 3 through a distributor 14 in accordance with both the signals. Accordingly, the variation in the rotation of a motor 4 can be produced in the form of the variation in the voltage of the converter 2, thereby extremely stably controlling the inverter.
