Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply a smoothed current to a load at every half cycle of a power source by controlling the voltage waveform from the power source in such a manner that the ON period of a semiconductor switching element is long at the lower voltage part and is short at the higher voltage part. CONSTITUTION:To an OP amplifier 9 are inputted a signal E proportional to the voltage value of a power source and a signal F from a generator G which generates a voltage proportional to the rotating speed of the DC motor M of a load. An operational amplifier 8 serves to compare the output B from the amplifier 9 with a reference signal C and to generate an ON signal D during the period in which the voltage level of the reference signal C is higher than the output B, thereby controlling a semiconductor switching element 1. Thus, the power source can be controlled to reduce the variation in the supplied quantity of electric power following the variation in the voltage of the power source.
