These contents are adjusted so as to satisfy the quantitative relation of 1.2(V+Ti)+16(Sb-0.01)=0.2W0.9 among V, Ti and Sb. Carbonitrides of V and Ti enhance the wear resistance, and by adding Sb, the matrix pearlite is stabilized to prevent deterioration in the machinability.
