Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a wind velocity sensor comprising a single element by providing thermosensitive resistor with a heat generating resistor for heating. CONSTITUTION:A detection electrode 2 to be simultaneously used as a resistance heating element of RuO2 series is provided on a surface of heatsensitive resistance porcelain 1 of MgCr2O4 series. In addition, a detection electrode 3 of RuO2 series is provided on the other surface. Leading out lead wires 4', 5' are provided for terminals 4, 5 of the resistance heating element, which is connected to a heating power supply. If the terminals 4, 5, 6 of a wind velocity sensor is connected to a bridge circuit, potential difference is generated in the bridge circuit when wind blows in the direction parallel with the element plate of the wind velocity sensor. Thus wind velocity can be measured.
