Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum image, by providing a humidity detecting means and a temperature detecting means on a recording medium to control the control quantity of the recording conditions, etc. based on the information obtained the above-mentioned detecting means as well as to display the detected output. CONSTITUTION:A humidity sensor 9 and a temperature sensor 10 are distributed at proper areas around a photosensitive drum 1. When a power supply is applied, the drum 1 turns in a low speed to be applied with various types of high voltages and then starts a high-speed rotation when a fixing roller reaches a prescribed temperature. Then the high voltage suited to a high-speed rotation is applied to the primary and secondary electric chargers 2 and 3. Thereafter, the potential control is carried out by a CPU15. In this case, the information on the potential, humidity, temperature, etc. obtained by the humidity sensors 6 and 9 plus the temperature sensor 10 is processed by the CPU15 to give the control to the high voltage charging quantity to the drum 1, the light volume of an exposure lamp 4 and the bias quantity to a development sleeve 8. At the same time, a control coefficient is selected to display the detected output. As a result, an optimum picture is obtained in a short time.
