Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a waveform which is free from distortion, by connecting the joints of two diodes which are connected in the forward direction and in series to the output terminal of an operational amplifier and forming a feedback circuit at an inverted input terminal of the operational amplifier with the other terminal of each diode via a variable resistor. CONSTITUTION:The cathode of a diode 2a is conected to an inverted input terminal of an operational amplifier 1 via a variable resistor 3a. While the anode of the diode 2a is connected to an output terminal of the amplifier 1. At the same time, the cathode of a diode 2b is connected to the output terminal of the amplifier 1, and the anode is connected to the above-mentioned inverted input terminal via a variable resistor 3b. Then an input AC voltage is applied to the inverted input terminal along with the application of the AV voltage obtained by attenuating the input AC voltage. As a result, a converted waveform containing no distortion is obtained at the center point between the diodes 2a and 2b.
