Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the control of the throttle valve of a motor bicycle in which the control is not hindered by variations in the suction negative pressure by lifting and lowering a piston valve at a rotational angle corresponding to an electrical signal. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse signal is outputted automatically to a pulse motor 31 by a manual operation of a driver who drives a motor bicycle or in accordance with the travelling state such as a load or the like, a control plate 32 rotates in accordance with the pulse signal, and a piston valve 23 of a suction trunk ascends and descends by the cam operation through a tappet 27 inserted into a cam groove 34. That is, in correspondence to the polarity of the pulse signal, the control plate rotates in either of normal and reverse directions, and a rotational angle corresponding to the pulse number can be obtained. On the other hand, since the tappet 27 of the piston valve 23 is in contact with the cam surface of the cam groove 34 in a substantially intersecting manner, even when an axial force acts on the piston valve 23 by the variations and the like of the suction negative pressure, the tappet 27 and the cam surface of the cam groove 34 are accurately engaged with each other, whereby the piston valve 23 does not float.
