Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the engine starting be always satisfactory regardless of a throttle valve position at an engine stop by controlling the engine output so as to make a vehicle speed closer to a desired one after resetting a throttle valve in a certain open position set previously.
CONSTITUTION: A step motor 31 is connected to the top end of a carburetor 28, of which throttle valve 35 has a needle 36 hanging down, and this needle 36 controls the quantity of fuel flow that is sucked out to an intake passage 33. That is, a speed control means 200 controls the engine output so as to make a vehicle speed closer to a desired one based on a vehicle speed detection step 201 that delivers speed signals in accordance with vehicle speeds, a vehicle speed instruction means 202 that delivers vehicle speed instruction signals in accordance with angular displacement of a foot pedal 16, a comparison arithmetic operation means 203 that delivers comparison arithmetic operation signals which have resulted from comparison arithmetic operations of those two signals, and this comparison arithmetic operation signal. Based on the result, an engine output control means 204 controls rotations of the step motor 31.
