Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a constantly correct a throttle valve opening upon starting by memorizing data concerning the engine temperature and the like upon starting of the engine, and performing the setting of the throttle valve opening by preparing for the succeeding starting on the basis of the data after the engine stops. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch is turned ON, data TWO is stored in a memory from a cooling water temperature senser at a step S4. Even when the ignition switch is turned OFF, the electric source of the whole system continues to assume the ON state for a time being. Meanwhile, the data TWO from the memory is read at the step 9, and a voltage is supplied to a motor of the throttle actuator at the step 11 or 12 on the basis of the data thus obtained. As a result, the throttle valve opening is set to a correct opening value by preparing for the succeeding starting.
