PURPOSE:To obtain the output signal corresponding to mass flow rates with simple circuit constitution by converting the output of a vortex sensor generating the output signal proportional to the buoyancy of the vortexes acting upon a vortex generating body to an AC signal of vortex generating frequencies and detecting the integrated outputs thereof. CONSTITUTION:The output signal proportional to the buoyancy of the vortexes acting upon a vortex generating body is generated from a sensor SE, and said output is converted to an AC signal of vortex generating frequencies with a signal converter 2. This signal is inputted via a integrating circuit 3 to a detecting and rectifying circuit 4, by which an analog output signal EM proportional to mass flow rates is obtained. Thereby, the output signal proportional to the mass flow rates is obtained with the simple constitution.
