CONSTITUTION:In a tandem rolling mill, no-tension rolling torque G0 is stored at a fixed sampling interval in a rolling torque storage circuit 31 of a rolling torque main storage circuit 12. By inputting plural no-tension rolling torque storage values Goi to a no-tension rolling torque selection circuit 32, an arbitrary value of tehm is selected as a value to be adopted as tension rolling torque GOM for detecting tension.
