Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of controlling the air fuel ratio by switching the control between the output of Karman eddy flow rate sensor which is equipped upstream of a throttle valve and the operation zone based on revolution rate. CONSTITUTION:A Karman eddy flow rate sensor is equipped upstream of the throttle valve 4 which is installed in the suction passage 3 of an engine. The output of the Karman eddy flow rate sensor 5 and the operation zone based on revolution rate are switched over to each other by a change-over circuit 12 based on the signal of the pressure difference switch 17 to which the pressures of both the upstream and downstream of the throttle valve are conducted. The zone for operating the amount of injection fuel by revolution rate is reduced by allowing the change-over zone to come near to the line for Karman sensor use limit. Thus, the accuracy for controlling the air fuel ratio can be improved.
