Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity and the number of transformers by connecting the secondary side of one input transformer to positive group bridge converters and the secondary side of the other input transformer to negative group bridge converters. CONSTITUTION:A cycloconverter 2 is composed in combination with positive group bridge converters 21, 23, 25 flowing positive currents and negative group bridge converters 22, 24, 26 per one phase of symmetrical 3-phase loads U, V, W. Then, at least two input transformers 41, 42 of three secondary side coils are provided, the secondary side of the one input transformer 41 is connected to the converters 21, 23, 25 and the secondary side of the other input transformer is connected to the bridges 22, 24, 26.
