Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the detection of load current effectively utilizing existing current transformers and the like by inputting current of desired two phases among those varied in the phase to a secondary current transformer in an equipment through a current transformer so as to be converted into voltage. CONSTITUTION:Current transformers CT1 and CT2 respectively set in phases a and b are separated on the side R and connected to an ammeter switching device AS via secondary current transformers CTa and CTb. Outputs of the secondary current transformers CTa and CTb are input into an analog adder OP1 and a voltage is output corresponding to current in the phase c. On the other hand, analog switches ANS1, ANS2 and ANS3 are ON-OFF controlled sequentially with a microcomputer 3 and the output of each switch is input to the microcomputer 3 by way of an AC/DC conversion circuit 1 and an A/D converter 2. Current of three phases is displayed on an indication element 4. This can simplify the work utilizing existing ammeter current transformer enabling the control of power consumption with limited investment.
