Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the mass production, by providing measuring marks on the surface of vibrating body, and visually measuring the amount of the after image of said measuring mark which is not overlapped by the gage of the vibrating body. CONSTITUTION:The vibration displacement measuring tool 1 has e.g. a bottom side 2 of 8mm. and slanted sides 3 and 3 with a height of about 4cm. Basic quantity gages 4 are marked in parallel with the bottom side 2 along the length of 8mm. with an interval of 1mm. being provided. Visual gages 6 having an equal interval are marked in parallel with the bottom side 2 and at a right angle with the direction of the height 5. Bonding agent 7 is attached to the back side of the measuring tool 1, and exfoliating paper 8 is bonded. The vibrating body is attached and fixed to the part to be measured in an exhausting pipe 9 of an automobile, so that the basic quantity gage 4 is crossed with the axis of the pipe at a right angle, i.e., along with the direction of the vibration A, and the direction of the height 5 is also aligned with the axis of the pipe. When a resonating state is generated in the exhausting pipe 9 under the state the engine is operated, and the vibration is generated in the direction of an arrow A; the position of the vibration displacement can be found by the distance B' to a point 10 where the image of the measuring tool 1 is crossed.
