Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable perpendicular driving of a steel pipe sheet pile, by a method wherein the steel pipe sheet pile is pressed down by driving as an inclination gauge, mounted at a top of a pile being the steel pipe sheet pile, manages perpendicularity.
CONSTITUTION: Firstly, two inclination gauges 10, 10 which measure inclining surfaces in two-way direction (a direction of a X axis and a direction of a Y axis), crossing each other at right angles, are mounted at a top part of a steel pipe sheet pile, i.e., a pile 1 being driven in a given position. Secondly, the perpendicularity of the pile 1 is measured by means of a transit 15 which is located away from a position where the pile 1 is diven and in the direction of the X axis and the direction of the Y axis. In case the pile inclines, for example, the lower part of the pile 1 is attached in a grasp manner by means of a tightening ring 16 of a pusher, and the perpendicularity is corrected through the individual operation of jacks 17 positioned at 4 spots at the periphery of he ring 16. After a 0 point of the inclination gauge is corrected, the pile 1 is driven as an indicator 11 monitors the perpendicularity of the pile 1.
