Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a material to be rolled having uniform sheet thickness and high surface evenness in the longitudinal direction, by synchronizing the sheet thickness control in the longitudinal direction of the roll gap of the material and the sheet thcikness control in the lateral direction by a roll bender. CONSTITUTION:An output of a load cell 4 detecting a rolling load P, and a signal of a bending force sensor 8 detecting a bending force PB, are outputted together to a subtracter 10 through a subtracter 9 to be compared with a reference rolling load, and to compute a rolling-load changing quantity, DELTAP, and the result is outputted to controllng parts 11 and 12. On the other hand, a roll- gap signals S is inputted in a subtractor 13 and compared with a reference gap to be computed a roll-gap changing quantity DELTAS and the result is outputted to the controlling parts 11, and 12. The controlling part 11 computes a changing quantity of roll-bending force DELTAPB from an equation, based on these inputted values and a previously inputted a reference sheet crown CRo, a refernce exit sheet thickness ho, and several coefficients, to command a roll bender 7 to change the bending force. The controlling part 12 computes the roll-gap changing quantity DELTAS' to outputs a command signal to a rolling-reduction setter 5.
