CONSTITUTION:For manufacturing an alkaline manganese battery having a positive mold 7, the mixture of manganese dioxide and graphite is molded to obtain a positive pellet. After the moisture content of the positive pellet is controlled bellow 1.5wt%, the electrolyte is poured and a battery is sealed. Preferably, the moisture content of the positive pellet is controlled by heating the pellet at 80- 150 deg.C before pouring the electrolyte.
