Abstract
PURPOSE: To disassemble a hot stove safely and efficiently by providing brick carrying-out chutes along the generator of the outside wall of a regeneration chamber and in the bottom part in a combustion chamber, and removing bricks and shells successively from the upper part to the lower part by utilizing a crane and a gondola.
CONSTITUTION: A brick carrying-out chute 4 is installed along the generator of the outside wall of a regeneration chamber 1. The part A of a regeneration dome 1a and the part B of a connecting part 3 are opened, and the workers enter the inside, disassemble dome bricks 5, 6, and connecting pipe bricks 7, and drop them into the chute 4 through the window hole opened so as to communicate with the upper part of the chute 4 from the inside of the regeneration chamber 11. These bricks are carried out by means of a conveyor 15 and a truck 16. Thence, shells 8, 9, 10 are hoisted with a crane, and are cut and lowered. The bricks 11 are stripped from the upper part and are dropped successively into the chute 4 through the window hole. Bricks 12 of the combustion chamber 12 are stripped successively from the upper part by the worker on a gondola (not shown) hoisted from above, and are dropped below. These bricks are removed to the outside with the chute (not shown) provided in the bottom part. The shells 13, 14 in both chambers are hoisted successively from the upper part with a crane, and are cut and lowered.
