Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the positioning of a light guiding member to the light beam radiated from a turning light source, by leading the light beam into a light guide within the said member from the surface of a sheet type light guiding member. CONSTITUTION:The light beam radiated from a semiconductor laser beam source 1 attached to a rotor 2 is irradiated to the incident side 6 of a sheet type light guiding member 4. At the same time, a diffraction grating 9 is provided on the upper surface of the side 6 as a said means. The irradiated light beam is diffracted by the grating 9 and supplied to the output side 7 after repeating the full reflection in a light guide 8 of the member 4. Thus the conducting surface is increased since the light beam is conducted from the surface of the member 4. As a result, the positioning of the member 4 is facilitated to the light beam. The same effect is obtained by using a prism having a reflecting face that reflects the light beam toward the light guide as a light guiding means.
