Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent black smoke formation in case of rapid acceleration by equipping a spring and an air dumper which serves as the resistance against the move of a control lever of a fuel injection pump in accelerator transmission system. CONSTITUTION:To install a spring 8 to an accelerator cable 7 which is connected to control lever 2 of a fuel injection pump 1. An air dumper 10 serves as the resistance against the rapid move of the control lever 2 to speed increasing. A speed controller 19 regulates the air ejection amount in the air dumper 10. When acceleration pedal is pressed fast, a piston 12 moves in excess of air ejection amount and the pressure in air pressure chamber 13 increases rapidly. Consequently, the move of the control lever to speed increasing is delayed. Thus black smoke formation can be prevented.
