Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of ride feeling, by advancing the time of ignition simultaneously with the increase in fuel when a large quantity of exhaust gas is recycled.
CONSTITUTION: When the degree of opening of a throttle valve 2 is set for a low speed by depressing an accelerator pedal, a negative pressure pickup port 9 is placed at the downstream side of the throttle valve 2 and negative pressure is applied to a diaphragm chamber 8 through a negative pressure circuit 10 to actuate an EGR control valve 6. At the same time, a regulating valve 11 is actuated to maintain a constant pressure chamber 13 at almost fixed pressure, and exhaust gas is recycled through a fixed orifice in a passage 16. When the throttle valve 2 is swung to also place a negative pressure pickup port 31 at the downstream side of the throttle valve, the negative pressure is applied to a negative pressure circuit 30 as well. As a result, a passage 17 is opened by a valve 18 to increase the EGR ratio, a thickener 20 opens a fuel passage 23 and a second spark advancer 28 pulls an advancing shaft 27 to advance the time of ignition.
