Abstract
PURPOSE:To step up tunnel construction efficiency by the use of an FRP tube for refilling to replace the use of the conventional form which is difficult to handle. CONSTITUTION:The truck 3 whose width is smaller than the diameter of the FRP tube 2is employed to carry said FRP tube into the lateral hole which has been excavated. The FRP tube 2 thus carried in is supported by the hydraulic jacks 6 on both sides of the truck 3. Then, tentatively fix the FRP tube 2 with the jacks 6 to release the truck 3 from the FRP tube 2, while the space under the FRP tube 2 is filled with tie concrete. Finally, the tube support jacks 6 are removed to fill the space left between the FRP tube 2 and the lateral hole with crushed stone or the like.
