Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a long-sized compositive trolly-Wire having excellent abrasion-resistance and being prevented from lowering of electric conductivity, by sticking and depositing molten copper-tin alloy on the surface of a copper core wire. CONSTITUTION:A composite wire coated with copper-tin alloy around a copper is manufactured, by using the copper as the core wire and storing copper-tin alloy in a molten metal bath. Next, said wire is hot-rolled and then cold-rolled successively to manufacture a composite trolley wire. As the cold working method, a wire drawing or a roller-die drawing etc. are used. The lowering of electric conductivity is prevented by the copper 1 at the central part, and the abrasion-resistance is improved by the surrounding copper-tin alloy 2.
