CONSTITUTION:A layer contg. a charge generating substance and a charge transferring substance together with a binder resin contg. at least 1 kind of polymer selected from a 9-(p-vinylphenyl)anthracene polymer as a polynuclear aromatic vinyl polymer represented by general formula A, a copolymer of a 9-(p-vinylphenyl)anthracene polymer monomer and other vinyl monomer, a brominated 9-(p-vinylphenyl)anthracene polymer and polyvinylcarbazole is formed on an electrically conductive support to manufacture a composite type electrophotographic receptor having high mechanical strength and preventing a reduction in the sensitivity and the generation of residual potential.
