Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the positioning between a solid-state image sensor and a color filter in an easy and highly accurate way, by detecting the positioning state berween these image sensor and color filter by means of an electrical output signal. CONSTITUTION:The positioning photosensitive picture elements 4 and 5 of a solid-state image sensor 1 are connected to pads 6a and 6l which are used for the external wiring. Then an end of each of contact pins 12a and 12b is brought into contact with the pads 6a and 6l respectively, and the other end of the contact pins is connected to a signal process part 13. At the same time, a vacuum tweezers 15 is used to hold a color filter 7, and the shift is controlled for the filter 7 by a feed mechanism in response to the output current supplied from the part 13. The light given from a color filter 16 passes through opsitioning marks 10 and 11 to be irradiated to the picture elements 4 and 5. When the shift of position is minimum, the output signals given from the elements 4 and 5 become maximum. Under such condition, the image sensor 1 is adhered to the filter 7 with an adhesive.
