Abstract
PURPOSE: To electrically control outputs at short-circuiting by installing a time constant control circuit, which make the time constant of a short-circuiting time control circuit and the time constant of a said arc time control circuit small when welding current is small, and making said time constant large as said current increases.
CONSTITUTION: A thyristor controls welding outputs by receiving the pulses of a gate circuit 7. A short-circuiting time control circuit 10 generates the signals for controlling time constants TS, TS', and an arc time constant control circuit 11 the signals for controlling time constants TA, TA'. Namely, when the welding current is small, generates time constant TS' or TA' respectively, and when said current is large, generates time constant TS' or TA. For example, the change quantity signals of the impedances controlling the time constants TS, TA are generated by the circuits 10, 11, by which the time constants of a short-circuiting time control circuit 5 and an arc time control circuit 6 are changed.
