CONSTITUTION:The bush 5, used for reducing the frictional resistance between a cylinder 1 and the piston 2 to thereby enhance the sliding property, and the piston ring 6 for securing the sealing property are jointly fitted on the outside peripheral surface of the piston 2 along the axial direction, which surface is faced to the inside peripheral surface of the cylinder 1. Even when a lateral force is exerted on a piston rod 3, the sealing function can be maintained by the piston ring 6, resulting in an effect in preventing the damping ability from being lowered.
