CONSTITUTION:A lever 7 is energized downward by a pin 10 and a spring 9, and a roller 11 fitted to the lever comes into contact with the upper end of a film F. The lower end of the film is in contact with rollers 13 and 15. Further, a photocoupler FC is provided atop of the lever 7. Therefore, the photocoupler FM is invariably at a constant distance from the upper end of the film F and thus positioned where signal perforations SH are detected securely. Consequently, the signal perforations SH are read accurately. As the reference part of the film, the upper end or lower end position of the perforations is used.
