Abstract
PURPOSE:To promote the miniaturization of a device by providing a detected sheet presence detecting switch which is turned on and off being associated with a moving condition of an actuator. CONSTITUTION:A microswitch 14, turned on and off in response to swiveling a swivel lever 14a, is arranged in a position distant from a running area of recording paper 3, and the swivel lever 14a engages its point end with the bottom end part of a rod-shaped actuator 13. Rolling out all the recording papers 3 from a roll, when the final end of the recording paper passes through a recording paper presence detector arranged part of a paper guide part 4, the actuator 13 of a recording paper presence detector is released from its moving restriction to the upper. Accordingly, the actuator 13 generates a large movement, switching the microswitch 14 to an off-condition. By the constitution thus obtained, the miniaturization of a device is promoted by enabling a size of the recording paper in its running direction to be shortened.
