Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the transmittance of only the original automatically by curving photosensitive paper to cause a deviation between the leading end of the original and the leading end of the photosensitive paper when the superposed sheets of the original and the photosensitive paper are inserted. CONSTITUTION:An original O and photosensitive paper S are fed into feed rolls 2, 2' and 3, 3', wherein the speed of the roll 3' is made lower than that of the roll 3. Therefore, the original O is fed while maintaining level, but the photosensitive paper S is bent between the rolls 2' and 3', and a deviation occurs between the leading end of the original O and the leading end of the photosensitive paper S. Hence, the transmittance of the original O is measured in the state that only the original exists between the original transmittance detectors consisting of a light emitting device 7 and a photodetector 8. When the photosensitive paper S is bent, the paper contacts a detecting rod 4 and closes a switch SW1. Upon closing of the switch SW1, the roll 3' is moved downward. Then, the paper S resumes a flat shape on account of the stiffness of the paper itself, and is made into the state that its leading end of original O are superposed in alignment, whereby it is fed into a photosensitive part 13.
